Diamon Fusion® International, Inc. (DFI Nanotechnology), global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, unveiled today a fresh line of products under the NEW family name Value-Fusion™. This new product line will further expand DFI’s core markets by providing additional market diversification and expansion into global markets, DFI senior officials reported.

The new Value-Fusion™ product line will include DFI’s existing SurfaceMaid® product along with the following new products aimed at attracting additional markets: Clear-Fusion™ for Residential, Commercial and certain Transportation markets, Aqua-Fusion™ for the Marine industry and Opti-Fusion™ for Optical and related fields. All these new products will have no licensing requirements and will be available in the market during Q2-2009. Certain minimum purchase volumes may apply depending on each market or region.

DFI’s patented Diamon Fusion®® flagship nanocoating will continue to be distributed only under license as it will remain as the highest quality option, company officials reported.

“The development of these new products has been long under research,” commented Adam Zax, DFI’s President and CEO. “We are pleased with the combination of quality and value we’ve achieved which allows DFI to introduce new value-oriented price points for every purchasing level, making DFI’s unique, innovative products available across a wide-range of segments”.

According to the reputable Freedonia Group Industry Report titled “World Flat Glass to 2010”, by 2015, worldwide demand for flat glass is forecast to be $71.1 billion, an almost 50% increase from 2005. The report provides as reasoning for this growth, “architectural trends such as the increasing use of natural lighting in buildings, as well as greater usage of skylights, glass patio doors and enclosures, and larger windows will all bolster the global market for flat glass.” The report also makes a reference to new smart glass products and glass coatings “to boost demand for flat glass”.

DFI Nanotechnology multi-functional characteristics include: water and oil repellency (hydrophobic and oleophobic,), impact and scratch resistance, protection against graffiti, dirt and stains, finger print protection, UV stability, additional electrical insulation, protection against calcium and sodium deposits and increased brilliance and lubricity. DFI’s nanocoating works at nanoscale levels to change the molecular composition of any silica-based surface. Diamon Fusion®® provides, in chemical terms, a ‘cross-linked’, ‘branched’ and ‘capped’ optically clear nano-film along with a strong and durable covalent bond.
