Diamon Fusion® International, Inc. (DFI), previous award-winner of the Innovative Product of the Year, reached a licensing agreement with Italian glass manufacturer CURVET Spa (Gruppo Industriale Curvet), Europe's leader in the fabrication of specialty curved glass for application in the sectors of bathroom furnishing (shower enclosures), household appliances, architectural field, furnishing, urban design, refrigerated display cases, freezer doors, lighting and the marine industry.
$The agreement grants Curvet an exclusivity option on DFI's technology, within Italy, for curved glass specialty niches. Curvet is the only company in Europe that is able to produce bent glass of every type with unique and innovative solutions for every sector. A twenty-year experience in glass bending and the most advanced equipment have made Curvet a leading company in the field. The differentiation in equipment and the resulting flexibility are the key factors of Curvet's success, the only company so far to carry out the whole processing of flat glass into any kind of curved finished product. Curvet is also a manufacturer of tempered, laminated and security glass and has distribution and sales offices in Germany and the US.
"Our innovative technology is a perfect match for Curvet, European leader in the manufacturing of the most innovative glass designs", said Mr. Guillermo Seta, Vice President of DFI, Inc. Mr. Seta also stated "This licensing agreement with Curvet will serve as a bridge to an easier penetration of the Diamon Fusion® Technology in the European market, in addition to all other marketing mutual benefits that both companies will gain from this new synergy."
Diamon Fusion® is a proprietary process (patented technology in the US and pending worldwide) of imbedding an optically clear film into the microscopic ridges of glass and any silica-based surfaces and then 'capping' it, creating a long lasting hydrophobic (water repellent) seal. This seal prevents surface damage and dramatically reduces the time required to maintain treated surfaces in residential, commercial, automotive or any other industrial applications.
